Seeing Christ in One Another

This years film series will feature movies that confront the many ways we see Christ in one another. Two thousand years ago Jesus used allegories, anecdotes and illustrations to teach about the Kingdom of God. Jesus communicated his Gospel more often through stories than sermons. So, too, there are many valuable lessons to be learned in many cinema classics. And while films are essentially entertainment, they have that unique way to communicate empathy and insight.

Join us on Tuesday nights as we gather for a simple soup supper at 6:00 p.m. and begin each film by 6:40 with a discussion to follow. Each week a "study paper" will be provided for the following week's film. All are invited and with prior arrangement, child care will be provided.
